Charter: Work with affiliates at comparable level (national, state)
to establish appointed liasons, participate in projects, co-sponsor events,
provide awards.
Mission: Encourage W3R-related entries for History Day or lineage organization essay contests.
Encourage affiliates to incorporate W3R-related material in their regularly-scheduled
presentations and commemorations -- at least once every five years.
Commercial Tourism: (not yet established)
Charter: Engage regional and local tour agencies in bringing tourists to the W3R-NHT.
Mission: Do a pilot effort with an existing heritage tour operator
for a multi-state tour with an on-board docent. Also pilot working with a local tour guide
to develop stops and talks and activities that the guide could use with one-car (or bus) tours.

Events: (not yet established)
Charter: Encourage, resource, and publicize activities by state groups
Mission: Monitor the events sponsored by W3R chapters and affiliates.
Develop a resource base of successful presentations (and speakers
/ re-enactors) and events and recommend. Share these resources with chapters or affiliates.

Fund-raising: (not yet established)
Charter: Develop ideas for attractive items to sell to raise funds to develop
the WQ3R-NHT and to provide a sense of ownership in the trail and
pride to heritage tourists and W3R-NHT supporters.
Trail Guidesheets - Auto / Bike / Walk / Canoe: (not yet established)
Charter: Recommend routes that are best suited to heritage tourism
and write detailed guides to follow those routes (in the standard format
for that mode of travel), with a historcal writeup, map,
and a directory of local support services (food, lodging, repairs, medical).
